HATHA YOGA

Hatha Yoga is one of the branches of yoga that explores physical poses (asanas) used to cultivate health and vitality. Many people find that yoga helps them cope better with stress and manage daily demands while improving sleep and overall well-being. Respectful movement can bring freedom and agility where you may have felt stuck or restricted, enhancing strength, flexibility, and balance. For mental health, it can mitigate depression, anxiety, and pain. Overall, practicing yoga and mindfulness can significantly improve quality of life.

In this practice, you will explore breath awareness combined with natural transitions and coordinated movements for health and longevity. You’ll learn where to place your gaze (drishti) and how to breathe (pranayama) during transitions and while holding positions. Each pose will allow time for contemplation, encouraging you to simply be present and observe your mind and body in each unique moment.

The practice will be led with compassion and kindness, encouraging you to respond lovingly to what is possible while exploring ways to re-enliven your whole being. Expect a nurturing, slow-paced practice that keeps you connected to yourself. You will work at your own level, prioritising safety and respect. All levels are welcome, from beginner to experienced. This session is designed with your needs at the forefront.
